About Us

Aloha! My name is Lori and I have lived in Hawaii for most of my life. My love affair with Italian Greyhounds began two decades ago and has only grown stronger with time, evolving into a journey of rescue and houndie love. I have been involved with IGCA Rescue, fostered handfuls of iggies, and continue to support rescue organizations through regular donations.

Shaka Dog Hawaii was created from my passion for these incredible dogs and the joy they bring to our lives. I am dedicated to celebrating the elegance, grace, and charm of these sleek sighthounds through thoughtfully designed gifts and accessories.  While Italian Greyhounds will always hold a special place in my heart, my collection has grown to include Whippets, Greyhounds, Galgos and more.
